103: How to Coach Yourself to Get Sh*t Done

By November 5, 2019April 21st, 2021No Comments

Every human knows what we should do, but most of us aren’t doing it.

So what if you could hack into your mindset and start to work the same magic that a coach would? What if you could start to shift your mindset to see your own issues from a fresh perspective? What if you could start to view your next steps more logically instead of emotionally? What if you could hold yourself accountable?

What would change for you?

Today we’re talking to Dr. Sasha Heinz. She’s a Developmental Psychologist and Life Coach, is an expert in Positive Psychology. She specializes in lasting behavioral change, and the science of getting unstuck.

So today she’s going to teach us some of her methods that we can actually take home and use on ourselves.

We will learn:

  • Why it’s so difficult to change unproductive, harmful, even dangerous habits even when we really want to change
  • How to create feelings of willingness to do the things we know we should do but keep putting off
  • How to change how you frame your goals to make them more manageable
