Do you ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? Get up, get ready, go to work, come home, make dinner, pour a glass of wine, go to sleep and do it all over again the next day.
The more chaos we feel around us, the more we instinctually go into survival mode. And then we enter our primal brains, and creative processing, emotions, and critical thinking, all take a backseat.
This makes it even more difficult to find fulfillment because we aren’t thinking about giving or growing a family; we’re thinking about basic primal needs, whether we realize it or not.
We hoard more. Worry more. Hibernate. Cut ourselves off. We numb ourselves.
So what do we do? How do we find that connection that leads us to the fulfillment we’re really seeking?
That’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Lynne Twist. She is the founder of the Soul of Money Institute and author of the best-selling, award-winning book “The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life” and her new book “Living a Committed Life: Finding Freedom and Fulfillment in a Purpose Larger Than Yourself” (released Fall 2022).
Over the past 40 years, Lynne has worked with over 100,000 people in 50 countries in the arenas of fundraising with integrity, conscious philanthropy, strategic visioning, and having a healthy relationship with money.
