Today we’re going back to a topic that we’ve covered before: ayurveda, but whereas the last episode focused more on the health and wellness aspect of ayurveda, we’re going to make it a little bit more applicable to today’s world and learn how to use it to crush your goals.

Ayurveda is the world’s oldest holistic healing system developed over 3000 years ago in India, and it’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on the delicate balance between mind body and spirit. So really, everything is connected. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means the science of life.

Today we’re learning how we can use ayurveda for living our purpose, actually following through on those goals, and overcoming some of the most common things that hold us back according to our different doshas, or our mind-body types.

Today will be really fun because you’ll be able to figure out what Dosha you are, and how it affects how you tackle your goals or interact with the world. Then how to use different principles of ayurveda to counterbalance excesses or a deficiencies.

Today we’re talking to Sahara Rose – the best selling author of Eat Feel Fresh and The Idiot’s Guide to Ayurveda. Deepak Chopra called her “a leading voice for the millennial generation into a new paradigm shift”. She loves to make spiritual and Ayurvedic wisdom fun and relatable so that it can actually serve the needs of people today.

Today we will learn:

  • How to identify your different Doshas
  • How our mind body types can be affected by age and even the climate we’re living in
  • Fun, easy, modern ways to bring imbalances back into balance
